o Lord Jesus Christ, King of glory! Deliver the souls of all the faithful departed from the painful prison of Purgatory. We offer Thee, eternal Father, a sacrifice of praise and of prayer, accept it on bebalf of the souls we commemorate this day, and let them pass from death to life.

During Mass-Have mercy, we beseech Thee, 0 Lord, on the souls of Tby servants (name them), for whom we offer this Victim of praise, bumbly beseecbing Thy majesty that by this sacrifice they may arrive at rest eternal, tbrough Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Hail! most blessed Jesus, eternal Son of the most high God! 0, deign to be merciful to those for whom we pray; Thou Who didst expire on the cross for their sake, give rest to their souls.

Hail! Sacred Blood that flowed for the sins of the world; wash away whatever stains may render Thy servants unfit to he admitted into heaven. 0 good and merciful God, look on the Face of Thy Christ, in Whom Thou art always well pleased, and permit the souls for which He suffered to rest eternally in Thy divine presence.

We beseech Thee, therefore, help Thy servants, whom Thou hast redeemed with Thy Precious Blood.

o my God, have compassion on the holy souls in Purgatory. I pray Thee, moderate their sufferings; shorten the time of their misery; call them soon unto Thee in heaven, that they may behold Thee face to face and forever love Thee.

Mary, Mother of Mercy, come to their aid with thy powerful intercession, and pray for us also who are still in danger of eternal damnation.

Release, 0 Lord, the souls of all the faithful departed from the bonds of their sins. And by the assistance of Thy mercy may they escape the sentence of Thy’ justice and enjoy the bliss of eternal light.

o merciful Jesus, lover of souls! I pray Thee, hy the agony of Thy Most Sacred Heart and by tbe sorrows of Thy Immaculate Mother, cleanse in Thy Blood the sinners of the whole world who are now in their agony and are to die this day. Amen.

My God, I offer Thee all the Masses which are being celebrated today throughout the whole world, for sinners who are in their agony and who arc to die this day. May the Precious Blood of Jesus, their Redeemer obtain merecy for them.

o Lord, my God, even now I accept from Thy hand, willingly and with submission, the kind of death it may please Thee to send me, with all its sorrows, pains, and anguish.

o my God, I offer Thee the hour of my death and all the pains I am destined to suffer from this moment until my last breath for Thy glory and in union with the bitter pains of Jesus’ Passion and death.

Grant, we beseech Thee, 0 Lord, that in the hour of our death we may be refreshed by Thy holy Sacra­ments and delivered from all guilt, and so deserve to be received with joy into the arms of Thy mercy. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
