With Him or Against Him

Christ is King of all creation by right of His Divinity as well as by conquest. He has the right to be acknowledged, loved, obeyed, and served, by all nations, governments, and peoples. There can be no neutrality in the rule of Christ over the world. We are either with Him or against Him. Too many people forget that Our Lord is King of even our private life – of our minds and hearts. In choosing which side we are on in this world; we must choose to be either a traitor to the world or a traitor to the Son of God. Upon His Second Coming, Our Lord will arrive not as a Savior, but as a Judge. In that day the just will be vindicated and the evil condemned. Heaven is love answered, while Hell is love rejected. We live in a world that’s lacking holy fear. It is not a servile fear, but a fear of losing the God Whom we love. If we are to foster such a fear, by God’s grace, it will deeply impact our soul and lead to a lasting conversion of life.
