Be Grateful, Faithful, and Confident
6th Sunday after Pentecost 2026
We must thank the Holy Trinity, the Blessed Mother, St. Joseph and the Holy Infant of Prague for all their gifts to us. If we were unable to attend the feast of Saints Peter and Paul, we should take a moment to invoke their help and the help of the other great saints who are celebrated this week.
We are sealed and marked Christians by the Sacrament of Baptism. We are also citizens of this country and should be proud of the famous generosity of our fellow countrymen. The American system has brought out the best and the worst in people and, although it is far from perfect, the Church has been able to flourish in this land. God has compassion on us, and we must remain always grateful for the gifts He has given, especially the great gift of our Faith. Pray for undying fidelity to that Faith.
